Honduras

February of this year I was able to take a portable ultrasound unit into mountain villages and other remote locations in Honduras on a Volunteers in Medical Missions (VIMM) experience I shared with my daughter, Sarah. It was great to have the diagnostic aide of ultrasound available in these locations, about half of which did not have electricity. We were able to meet a few of the many health needs of these gracious people, but the opportunity to give and receive a “cup of water” in the name of Jesus was the highlight. At the end of one clinic a group of grateful villagers filled our clinic room and prayed for us!
